Every now and then, you'll encounter a super enthusiastic applicant who just has to work for your company. They might apply multiple times for the same position or even for different roles. Rather than reviewing the same applicant from scratch each time, we've made it easier for you to keep track of these repeat applications.
You’ll now see alerts in two places when someone applies more than once, helping you stay organized and on top of their submissions.
How it Works:
We’ve consolidated the tags into two clear options:
- "Applied Multiple Times" – This tag will appear when an applicant applies more than once to the same position.
- "Applied to Multiple Jobs" – This tag shows up when they’ve applied to different positions within your company.
Note: Duplicate applicant alerts are based entirely on the applicant's email address. An alert will only be triggered if an applicant applies for your position or to your company more than once with the same email address.
Where You'll See These Alerts:
On the Applicant Grid
Look for the alert on the applicant grid. This gives you a quick glance at their activity across all your openings. You'll notice the number of times an applicant has applied as indicated by the +3 or +2 (for instance) on the left side. Clicking on that number will display all applicant profiles with the same email address.
Bonus: you can also filter by these automatically generated tags, if you want to get a full view of all applicants who are eager to work at your company:
On the Applicant Info Tab
You’ll also find the alert on the Applicant Info tab of their profile.
You can also find the tag on the Applicant Info tab of the applicant's profile. To save yourself time, you can click on the "Applicant applied multiple times" link provided to view all previous applications so you know what rating and status you assigned the applicant in the past.
This helps you stay informed and efficient when managing enthusiastic repeat applicants. Keep an eye on those tags, and you'll always know who's eager to join your team!
