What is Express Apply? 


Express Apply lets applicants use a streamlined button to apply directly from certain job boards. Here's the kicker: If Express Apply isn't enabled, ZipRecruiter and MyJobHelper won't post your jobs for free visibility. Yes, free exposure is tied to this feature for some job boards!


For staffing or multisite users, enabling or disabling Express Apply involves two areas:

  1. Account Details (parent/default account)
  2. Site Management (individual sites)

By default, Express Apply is ON, but here’s how to toggle it.


How to Turn Express Apply On/Off in Account Details (Default Account)


Access the Account Details section

  • Log in to your ATS dashboard.

  • Click the Menu Icon (upper-right corner of the screen).

  • From the Main Menu, select Account Details.





Navigate to Feature Management

  • On the Account Details page, scroll down to the Customize & Design section.
  • Click on Feature Management.




Adjust Express Apply Settings

  • Scroll down to the Job Postings section.

  • Find the option: Allow express applications from job boards (this is the Express Apply feature).

  • If you want to disable Express Apply, toggle this option OFF.



Note: Disabling Express Apply here only affects the default account, not individual sites.


How to Turn Express Apply On/Off in Site Management (Individual Sites)


Access the Site Management section

  • From the ATS dashboard, click the Menu Icon (upper-right corner of the screen).
  • Select Site Management from the Main Menu.


Edit Site Details

  • For each site you want to adjust:
    • Click the magnifying glass icon to open site settings.

    • Select Edit Details.



Adjust Express Apply Settings for Sites

  • In the site details, locate the Allow express applications from job boards option.
  • Toggle this option OFF if you want to disable Express Apply.
  • Click Save to apply your changes.






Repeat for All Sites

  • If you have multiple sites, repeat the above steps for each one.
